How Juppad works, in the order a token moves through it: launch, curve, graduation, Jupiter.
What Juppad is
Juppad is a token launchpad for the Jupiter ecosystem. It does not run its own trading program. Every token is created on Meteora’s Dynamic Bonding Curve under Juppad’s own curve settings, trades on that curve until it sells out, and then graduates into a Meteora pool with permanently locked liquidity that Jupiter routes through automatically.

Go to Launch, connect a wallet, pick a name, symbol and image, and optionally add a first buy. One transaction creates the mint, the metadata, the bonding curve and your first buy, so nobody can front-run the creator.
- Supply is fixed at launch. There is no mint authority and no freeze authority.
- The creator pays only network fees plus the Meteora pool rent (a fraction of a SOL on mainnet).
- The image and description are pinned to IPFS through Juppad’s upload endpoint. The key never leaves the server.
- Name is at most 32 bytes, symbol at most 10, and the metadata link at most 200.
Bonding-curve trading
Until a token graduates, every buy and sell is a swap against its curve on the Meteora program. The price rises deterministically as SOL enters the curve and falls as it leaves. Juppad shows a quote with a 1% slippage floor before you sign; the transaction fails rather than filling worse than that.
- Trades settle on-chain in the same transaction. Juppad never holds your funds.
- Progress is the SOL in the curve as a share of the graduation target.
- Once a token graduates, the curve closes and the Trade panel points to Jupiter.
Graduation to Jupiter
When the curve reaches its SOL target, Meteora migrates the raised SOL and the remaining tokens into a DAMM v2 pool. Under Juppad’s settings, 100% of that liquidity is permanently locked: nobody, including Juppad, can pull it. Jupiter indexes Meteora pools, so the token becomes tradeable at jup.ag and in every wallet and aggregator that routes through Jupiter, with no action from the creator.
Fees
Treasury positions
When launching, a creator can give the coin a treasury position: long or short SOL at 1–5x. A fixed share of the coin’s trading fees funds that position on Jupiter Perps, and more fees top it up over time. The coin owns the position; the creator can’t withdraw it. Profits are used to buy the coin and burn it, and every claim, trade and buyback is listed on the coin’s page.
- It is a position on SOL, not on the coin. The coin page says so next to the position.
- Leverage is capped at 5x. At 3x the position survives a ~30% move against it; at 5x about 18%.
- A coin that stops trading stops funding its position, but the position stays until it is closed or liquidated.
- Positions are opened and managed by Juppad’s treasury service; the ledger shows every transaction.
Leverage
The Leverage page lets you long or short SOL at 3x. It is not a market on individual Juppad coins: a new memecoin has no lenders, so nobody can offer leverage on it. Positions run on Drift Protocol with your own wallet. Juppad never holds your collateral; your first trade opens a Drift account in your name and deposits the SOL there, and the same account is visible on drift.trade.
- Collateral is SOL. Position size is collateral × 3, filled against Drift’s AMM at the mark price.
- Liquidation, funding and fees follow Drift’s SOL-PERP rules. Juppad adds no fee.
- Close returns the result to your Drift collateral; “Withdraw all” sends it back to your wallet.
Status and known risks
- Meteora’s code, not ours. The curve and pools are Meteora’s audited programs. Juppad is a front end plus a curve configuration; a bug in Juppad cannot move your funds.
- Memecoins are volatile. A bonding curve guarantees a price formula, not demand. Most tokens never graduate.
- Metadata hosting. Images are on IPFS via a pinning service. If pinning lapses, the token still exists but its picture may not load.
- Early software. Juppad’s front end is new and currently on mainnet-beta. Expect rough edges.
